Thankful on Labor Day

About enjoying a nice Labor Day but having a great boss at work - a poem.

The typical American worker likely does
This proper and worthwhile strategy
About two or three times
Each and every busy workday:
Ask their boss or manager for assistance
In doing some critical or logistical task
And getting the answer
Both succinctly
And with a gracious and authoritative aplomb.

For bosses tend to be quite knowledgeable,
Offering their willing and presumptive guidance
To their grateful employees
Upon the asking...

Providing stomach, gumption and insight to their workers,
And ensuring collectively that they enjoy enough
Season-ending pleasure
On a most glorious and forgiving Labor Day holiday.
