I saw you walk far in the distance,
I called out your name
I shouted out your name
But you did not turn.
I followed your footprints
But as I tried to follow you they vanished before me
Engulfed by the pitiless waves.
I tried to run after you,
But all that was left was
Your silhouette in the sunset’s light
And me broken to pieces.
