At the Base of Croagh Patrick, County Mayo, Ireland

This picture was taken by me in March of 2004 at the base of Croagh Patrick.

This is a view, looking westward, of the National Famine Memorial of Ireland. It is made of tiny iron skeletons - thousands of them, to represent all the victims of the famine that devastated the country in the 19th Century.
