Are we together forever?

Many a day I wonder why--

I must sit by myself and cry.

You’ve turned your back on me it seems

I’ll give you back your diamond rings

I must sit by myself and cry.



Being alone is sad—

But you care not.

Those days when we smiled I’ve forgotten

Now our love has turned rotten

But you care not.



A glimmer of hope stays in my heart

Do you love me still or do you love me not

I think my love shall never die

And you ask me why

Do you love me still or do you love me not



So many years we traveled together

We said we would stay together forever

My heart still quivers when you touch my hand

So get your head out of the sand

We said we would stay together forever.
