If life has ever brought you down, you might know this feeling.

We Live in a World of Grey

So it is true what they say
Life is too short
But yet I sit here in dismay
Pondering thoughts, where’d the time go
For we live in a world of gray.

Life’s toll, I must obey
Used and discarded I have been.
Nearly to death, I am halfway
No matter, cut it short
For we live in a world of gray.

Now it is time for me to pay
Give up all that was once mine
Listen and I shall say
It was not worth the trouble
For we live in a world of grey.
