I have this little 2 year old
Somewhere inside of me
I have this little 2 year old
Can't wait until she's 3!

When I ask my 2 year old
What game she wants to play
My little 2 year old replies
“NOTHING!” and throws something my way!

If I try to comfort my 2 year old
In times of stress or tears
My 2 year old turns on me
With rage beyond her years!

Today I am 27 years old
And trying to find love still
For a little 2 year old
Whose needs were never fulfilled.
