4 Feet Under

Another one I wrote at a creative writing course. All reviews are welcome!

My apologies,
dear neighbour.
If my dog was dead,
I'd be sad as well.

Not to worry,
at least your dog
found the bones it buried
in my garden.

Look on the bright side,
I allowed your dog
to keep them buried
in my garden.

Just one catch.
I only allowed it
after I told your dog
it had to be buried
along with the bones
in my garden.

I just assumed his bark
was a yes.
