It Calls

When your soul speaks to you

I can hear it faintly in the back of my mind
Something somewhere is calling to remind
Making me think of far off lands
Where I'm walking in forests and walking on sands
It wants me to follow the path of its call
To soar with the birds without fearing the fall

It calls me to discover my reason for being
I'm unsure at first yet my soul is agreeing
It whispers around me, gently calling my name
Ensuring I will never be the same
It wakes me up, it ignites my fire
To fulfill my dreams and my heart's desire

There's warmth and peace that come with the sound
To ease the yearning for my path to be found
It beckons me to take the leap
Leading to fulfillment that I shall reap
I close my eyes and have faith in its knowing
And welcome the gifts that it is bestowing
