A poem for Muslim people who seek to get married in a way pleasing to their faith |
| Choosing a spouse. A choice purely of heart. It can't be delayed. Once feelings start. One uses his head, to see things clear, Not wavering from what is right, No matter who is near. Taqwa is important, What's critical is deen, I'm not trying to be mean, But its more than what's seen. Give it the time it deserves, Its a choice for life, Rushing can result, In an unhappy husband or wife. This is just what I know, I'm not a qualified shaik, An alim am I not, I advise for Allah's sake. Taqwa means piety, deen means faith , alim means scholar, and shaik means an Islamic scholar. They are not spelling errors |
