A rhyming poem based on the huge profits Michael Jordan reaped last year. |
| A shoe, a jersey, some neat brand - A design for quite a profit. An athlete's name with such demand; The legend's fans won't scoff it. A stylish logo, worldwide, To cure that aching fetish; With marketing companies at their side, The team won't look coquettish! A star endures with every sale Of merchandise a-plenty; Some sporting great shall never fail At a hundred-ten or twenty. Some jazzy things about these shoes, And sports you might play in them. But working hard and paying dues Is how the greats go get'em! So engineer the latest thing In new designer clothes - In every sport, the phone must ring; They stand above their foes. |
