She bears witness to watch her husband Michael and other loved ones grapple with a life that is suddenly without her. She can hear and feel everything that they are feeling but she cannot allow them to know that she is existing alongside them.

Answers do not come easily Abby as the years go by with her watching Michael lose his self in the bottle and farther away from their daughter Norah. His pain calls her to him in his dreams and his consciousness. Inch by inch she is forced to watch him crawl closer to desolation and despair but otherworldly limits impedes her ability to help him but sometimes even these limits cannot stop a fleeting physical connection from being created between two people whose love story ended before it ever had a chance to begin.
