Another poem of, "what if" |
| A Chance Encounter The man yelled to me, like the sound of thunder. He poured my emotions, as if they were rain. I was put in a trance, while I patiently wondered. Am I doing thing's right, or am I living in vain? From out of the upper atmosphere, a light levitated I was held in awe, at the sight. Like a child my eyes, had been gravitated, Was it interest, or was I in fright? Little by little, it grew closer to me, I even thought maybe, to run. Yet something within it, dropped me to a knee It whispered, "you're life is not done." While the next moment flashed The being gestured a nod. He said, "Don't worry son, it's only me -- God." |
