| I WAIT FOR YOU An hourglass sifts the sands of time since I left this old world far behind so I wait for you to join me and find a shadow of memory in your mind. That I would be the first to go away was not in my plans (or so they say) Growing old was not a real excuse. I gave up trying, for what's the use? The love we shared was meant to be, open for all the world to look and see. A destiny claimed, yet my life denied, I went to Heaven - just for the ride. No more heartache, no more pain, what once was will surely come again. Until that time you are called home, then I will never ever again be alone. I wait for you - Countrymom 2/17/14 |
