A Fun Habit

Having fun means being ready and willing
To partake in a worthwhile event or offering,
One that may reasonably produce a nice and rewarding outcome -
It means overcoming sluggish indifference
And taking that proverbial horse by the reins...

And all it requires is daylight or a passion
For nighttime adventure;
Then off you go -
Galavanting to the movies,
A favorite shopping destination,
Out to eat at a fine restaurant or diner,
Or onward toward an energizing hike
Or sporting event.
For life involves relaxing habits like these
So that we may enjoy time alone with ourselves,
Or share ample amusement
With our family, friends, and significant others.
