A friend told me a story and asked me to write poem for it. This is it. Leland's story.

They say things happen for a reason for now I'll never know.
All I can say is
It happened so slow but, so fast
Time with you was so wonderful
So perfect
I still feel you, smell you
Just to hear you is all I need to make it day by day
To dream about you is more than I can bare
Your screams still haunt me
Your fears are all around me
I'm losing myself each and every night
To relive this nightmare is more than I can bare
Your fears are all around me
To hear you screams haunt me
How do I stay sane and relive this nightmare over and over.
