Justice is rough but it is also a terribly tender thing

It comes in many forms be it speech or bang

The essence of justice resides in laws

Thought to many it may seem to be filled with flaws

Pain and suffering is what is caused

When justice is put on pause

Revenge is what's left when justice isn't served

Hatred simmers in thoughts being preserved

Time slows and blood boils

Teeth clenched and muscles wound like tight coils

Frightening images play across your mind

Tainted hated images only used to remind

Of times before or what could be

Plaguing your mind and not allowing you to be free

Until finally justice is served by one's own hand

Revenge and justice are like grains of beach sand

One may be bigger or one may be laying in the shade with some dame

But when they become wet they are all one in the same
