We may live together, but we also live apart

I live in the same world as you

I live in a world where sadness was born
You live in a world where laughter is alive

When we walk down the same street, do we see the same things?
In my world, it is always raining; in your world, the sun shines through
My world is black and white; your world is full of colour
Yet we live in the same world, we are light years apart

You see all that is good, you live your life free
I see all that is bad; I live my life painfully
You do not understand me, even though we speak the same language
I do not understand you; we speak a different language

We live in the same world
You live with a good heart
I live with depression
My heart is so bad
