Kathy got out the Christmas decorations with care
and watched as her children decorated the tree.

She saved one very special decoration for last
A turtledove given to her great-grandmother
by her great-grandfather

Before he shipped out for the First World War
He had never returned
but kept his turtledove

As a symbol of their undying love.
