Black Hole

that feeling of being lost.

Black Hole

Deep, dark,
blackness
going on forever,
an endless emptiness,
it pulls me in,
I try to escape..
I pull and tug
and try to run,
but there is no escape,
others have tried,
failed.
There is no silver lining.
This vortex,
ever spinning,
an evil,
a mighty foe.
A cry in the dark,
a plea unheard.
I fall into this sea,
drown in its waves,
ever churning,
going on forever..
I awake with a cry.
