Survivle of the fittest

is there a meaning to anything? is there a point in trying?

That awful feeling in your chest,
like a black hole.

When you realize nothing lasts forever,
neither good nor bad.

When you truly know there is no meaning,
while watching the rest as they seek.

Realize everything is a lie so big,
love, hate, anger, peace.

Just a battle for survival,
who shall win?

Not you, nor I, so just don’t try.
