Bells rang loudly causing my head to hurt. NO! It’s too soon, and I don’t have enough! Midnight emerged.

He warned me that the time was at hand, but I didn’t listen.

Dad’s voice boomed as the bells stopped their tolling, “Time’s up!”

Halloween was over. Oh well, there will be more candy next year!
