Sophism

Creation or happenstance? Which is correct?
The blowhards insist that only they’re right.
What drives us to ponder if intellect
is behind the patterns of darkness and light,
seemingly laid out by an architect,
as we gaze in awe at the heavens at night?
Rather, we should seek the reason we’re here.
Without that answer our future’s unclear.
