A sonnet alluding to God's graciousness and beauty. |
| The words I sing do chant and ring To thee I sing oh Lord my God For Him who sits on Heaven’s throne To all the Earth I’ll make you known To highest peaks and valley’s low You truth shall thrive and never go I look to life that you have made Yet they shall pass but you will stay It is a shame the plight of man Their ways are bleak and shift like sand I pray my king who’s Lord of all You pick me up when I do fall So now I pledge and give my soul Soon I shall rest in peace and lull |
