A Hard Change

There use to be
one people
one race
one dominate sex,
one sexual orientation
one dominate religion


They were similar people of similar ideals and it worked
but as are people have changed so much
truly become so diverse
most if not all of us have been left out


we need to change that
we must change that
The world has changed
But the power structure
And the cultural influences
Have not changed enough


We live in a country
Where change can happen
Without war,
no blood needs to be shed
no blood should be shed
all it takes is people united
