Lore of where the Elementals came from.

In the past, many wars broke out between humans, dwarves and elves. Centuries before, the elves were noble industrious people. Now they study dark magic that fills their hearts with evil and corruption. After the dwarven home cites were destroyed by dark elves, they banded together with mankind to fight them off. Monks from the high council of dwarves, granted two sons and two daughters of mankind's royal families with ancient magic. Each was gifted with the four elements wind, fire, earth and water. Every 500 years as the stars align, the elf magi preform a ritual to unleash monsters from another dimension. These four protectors are born just 15 years before the alignment to combat the magi and their monstrous hordes.
