A cascade poem. . . |
| Note: This is a cascade poem. The form is four stanzas. The first line of the first stanza is the last of the second stanza. The second line of the first stanza is the last of the second, and the third line is the last of the third. There is no set rhyme or rhythm, but I chose to rhyme the first and third lines of each stanza. In the pouring rain. With no sign of the sun. I must walk outside again. So I run and I strain Not to step in the puddles In the pouring rain. It’s kinda sorta fun. Water streaming down my back. With no sign of the sun. Home at last, out of the rain. But I forgot my book. I must walk outside again. |
