Inspired by art and about the stages of my life |
| Brush Strokes on the Canvas Blank Canvas. Perfect brush. Birth: First brush strokes, light and gentle. Nothing remarkable. First decade: Brush strokes are vibrant alive, enchanting and inviting. Second decade: Brush strokes are even, maturing and challenging Third decade: Brush strokes are solid, energized, and performing well Fourth decade: Brush strokes are refined, meticulous, determined, and well placed Fifth decade: Brush strokes are ripe, precise, and sturdy Sixth decade: Brush strokes are mature, full, even, and defiant Seventh decade: Brush strokes are waning, but good, solid and interesting Eighth decade: Brush strokes are weaker, but well trained, and presentable Ninth decade: Brush strokes are fading, a gesture, yet ripe and commanding Death: Brush strokes are no longer, but the canvas is full and reflects a life well lived! Life is a canvas on which each of us paints our own picture from birth to the grave. |
