A NURSING HOME

Thank you for bringing us
Your family member.
We had so many moments
That we will remember

From the time they came
Through our doors
We talked, lived, laughed
And always adored

From their stories they
Came to share
And the friendships and hardships
That they bared.

We listened to them and offered
A kindly word when needed
And they told us of life measure
That will greatly be repeated

We had the privilege to learn
About them and their morals
They helped prepare us
For life’s many turmoil’s

A great wisdom has been
Passed down to you and me
Ways to love people, forgive
And fight to be free

We honor our elders and
Respect every word
Thank you for the opportunity
To let them be heard

The friendship that we have
Come to treasure and love
Will continue in our hearts
Till we meet up above

God has shone us the way
To provide and care
Thank you for the treasures you
Had brought us to share.
