A sweet young love so fresh and honestly true.

You were young and naïve capturing my heart.
Young memories to last forever not just apart.
As our love grew older it became a lot stronger.
We knew then it was a love going to last longer.

Fifty years has past by since our marriage vows.
I haven't regretted a time for what we have now.
In 1963 I swore I'd always stay your loving man.
Today I haven't any regrets for taking your hand.
