Morning Sunshine

Those mornings that make you glad you are you.

As I open my eyes each morning to seek sunlight to wake me,
Some mornings the light hits my face long before I awaken
Morning seeps through the blinds and around the curtain
to give sunlight to my morning this is happiness I'm certain
Some mornings my heart is pumping at full speed as soon I see
the sunlight and before I throw back the sheets
time slips away way to fast to enjoy the light on my face
as I drink my coffee and head on my way
giddy and valiant I run into the world
to see what awaits my soul
Get back to relax and kick back,
and let the sunshine warm my soul
I love days like this and mornings of this nature
if I had a large enough jar, the sunshine I'd definitely capture
and carry along with me to share so everyone I encounter
can experience the unbound happiness that make me swell
and know what its light to awaken to
