Those Who Live in Fear

Young people who feel fearful about the state of the world or community they live in

Many tears are shed by those who fear
For there is no one to hear.
We live in dark, and don't know what to expect.
From a world that shows no respect.
I cry out for help and no one hears
For no one cares for about those who fear.

I live in doubt and feel alone
I feel I have no home to call my own.
People smile when they walk by.
I often wonder why.
I am never happy, for no one cares
For the lonely kids who live in fear.

I care for no one, for no one cares for me.
This isn't the way it should be.
Everyone should have someone who cares.
No one should shed this many tears.
I wish there were someone to care
For me and the others who live in fear.

We live in fear of what has come
Of this planet we live on.
I have been in many fights and have seen people die.
When I tell my story, no one cries.
For they only pretend that they hear
For they don't care for those who fear.
