The Cage

My cage is cold and dark
There is no one else
I am alone
The door is locked
I want to be free
There is no way out
I am trapped
I try to stop the walls
They keep caving in
I yell for help
No one hears
Every day I wait
For the person who has the key
They don't come
They don't know about me
