God's Always There

No matter how weary you are or how dark it may seem God is there to hold his child's hand.

When troubles start to fill my life
When all I see is pain and strife,
I look to you, you dry my tears
You stay close by and calm my fears.

When I am tired, I cannot think
My faith is weak, I start to sink,
I take your hand, you lift me up
Revive my faith and fill my cup.

You’re always there when I’m all alone
When my heart aches and my spirit groans,
I feel your arms as You hold me near
I call your name and I know you’ll hear.

When friends can’t help, and I can’t cope
I feel no comfort and no hope,
And darkness turns my day to night
I reach for you, my Joy, my Light.

You’ll never leave and won’t forsake

You’ll be my Peace, my Strength, my Guide
Till Heaven’s gates are opened wide.
