Ninette form poem about writing a difficult script scene. For the A-Z Poetic Form Contest. |
Write. Rewrite. Why won't this scene work for me? Who gave my script life and told it to misbehave? I've gone nuts. Ninette: Consists of nine lines, each increasing in one syllable, and then at the midpoint the lines start decreasing by one syllable. The form, when centered, appears like a paper lantern. You can have as many verses as you wish, but make sure you write less than 40 lines to keep to the contest rules. |
