Why Save It?

Why do we
save it for a rainy day?
What exactly is it?
Money, love, fun?
Why must life be misty
to be enjoyed?
Why not today?
Live in the moment,
shall we?
Grab the now!
Enjoy every breath
you take.
Wear that new dress,
call an old friend,
let your heart open
and love in,
spoil yourself!
Life should be lived
in the now,
not when skies turn grey.
Are we guaranteed
the rainy day that
we are saving it for?
Is that a bet you are
willing to make.
Not me.
I'm dressing in my best
on a Tuesday
and seizing the day!
