Remembering when things go bad, and forgetting when things are good

Will You remember me
Through my time I‘ve forgotten You
Sadly not understanding the facts
Knowingly participating in unruly acts
Asking for forgiveness if only for my own witness
I believe it was granted to me
You and I knew at the time it wasn’t said without a rhyme
Sadly feeling like a mime trapped inside with a feeling of no way out
At the time it was real and righteous
Asking with a scream and being so boisterous
How can it not be noticed
With only You and myself in the room fearing my impending doom with a backdrop of gloom
Forget me not
I ask You with all of me
I know you’ll set me free
Just Please don’t forget me or lose me within the masses
As it always passes
