The Mending Of A Fractured Essence

A poem about being alone, then finding that one person that could pull me back together.

the void penetrated my mind
meandering nightly
impending loneliness
'twas inevitable

then she appeared
her hair flowed
gorgeous smile
angel that picked me up

solitariness subsided
then longing arose
short periods apart
awaiting repartee

never imagined
that she had existed
while alone in that void
she mended my soul
