A short poem expressing my feelings

If only for a moment
Can we pretend we are in love...
Pretend you are mine
And that our Love exists for each other

If only for a moment
Can we let this Love be dear?
Can we remember only our good times
And forget all that we fear

If only for a moment
Can I say you loved me too.
Say that you also cared for me
As much as I did you.

If only for a moment
Can I say we're more than friends.
And anyone asks if I love you
I'll say more than "It depends."

If only for a moment
Can we pretend you Love me too.
It's only for this lifetime
That I'm trapped in Love with you.
