Stay While I Go

Just another little poem about leaving or staying for some reason or other.

You stay, because you want to hold on
I leave, because I want to let go
You always want me when I'm gone
I only nee you when I'm here
Does it bother you when i don't do what I say
Or is it the fact that sometimes I forget what I said
Sorry that's just the way I am
But we can't always expect things to go as planned
You claim you can see the future
Then why are you still looking to the past
Another day, another lesson
For both of us is our blessing
But I refuse to learn and I refuse to try
So i guess that's the reason why
I am just the way I am
Something I will never choose to hide
And nothing you will never choose to accept
Despite the choices we both neglect
So you can stay...while I leave
Like the way it was meant to be
