Thrilled those in sombre state and edified the vine.



Dionysus divinity was worshiped throughout Greece,

His festivals stirred the arts, and likewise unhinged peace.



This all is Ancient History, before the birth of Christ,

With Jesus soon identified, his old man would advise;



‘If you want the people to follow son, get them drinking wine.

Jesus Christ embraced Gods words, turning water into wine,



The image of death and resurrection, reverence and wine,

It all began with Dionysus, the God of the grape vine.
