Sweet, short poem for love |
| Oh sweet love, Whose dynasty has begun onto me, I the ruler, And the peasant. We have fallen into abyss, in this retched separation, You are so far away! So near to my heart, but my body is aching, What if you ne'er loved me? What if you are a scandal in the morn, A trick you have played upon my feebleness? I only beg for these to hold no truth, That you care in all your being. Your words, if they be not hollow, Caress me, Sedate me, Oh, please! Write me! Say all the things I need of you, And I shall do the same. |
