Wings

Wings is part of my collection with the themes of emotion and virtues of humanity.

Wings

Does the eagle know how far he can see,
or the hummingbird,
how fast he can flap his wings?
Is the peacock aware how his feathers can dazzle,
or the starling,
how his speech does marvel?
Do we understand what is unseen,
the distance we can climb,
and the length we can reach?
When our wings spread to the sky,
do we focus on the horizon,
asking why?
Aiming for the sun,
we take flight,
never doubting
we can soar that high.
