A short poem on the wild in one's soul |
| I am a wild one Never tamed My hair flies through the air Black as hellfire Untamed, knotted, but free Ready to race the circling raven My eyes stare you down Turn to the open land Burn with the fire of ancestors The challenge of my enemies And the pride of leadership My muscles coil Propelling me forward To a speed you can never obtain Simply to feel the wind over my body And the ground beneath my feet I am a wild one Try and tame me now |
