Dreamers Playing God

This poem came to me in the voice of an old man strictly opposed to modern science .

                                                                Men and women of science indeed
                                                                Dreamers! Playing God

                                                                Rearranging a DNA sequence
                                                                On an unborn child
                                                                Dreamers! Playing God!

                                                                Eradicate disease indeed!
                                                                Fix whats broken you say
                                                                Dreamers!

                                                                Measles, mumps, rubella
                                                                Of course I've heard of 'em boy

                                                                Millions suffered and died
                                                                'Twas as it should be
                                                                  Before science fixed it

                                                                  These young ones
                                                                  The audacity to heal a child
                                                                  In the womb
                                                                  Before the suffering

                                                                    Playing God!!!
