The ring wish.

My wish for a ring to place on the hand of my beloved wife.

I am satisfied with my life.
I am satisfied with my wife.
Our home suits both of us well.
Words of unhappiness I have not to tell.
I never asked for much, but when I do.
I would like to see my wish come true.
For myself I ask not for a thing.
For my beloved I wish for money with which to buy a ring.
For eighteen years we have lived in sin.
To be legally married would be to start again.
