It Will Be Alright

About a friend of mine that is getting bullied.

You break people's hearts,
Since you fear your own.
Even though it feels like,
You're breaking your bones.

You let people hurt you,
Expecting nothing more.
The insults thrown at you,
Go right to the core.

You lie to yourself,
To ease the pain.
Even if it causes you,
To be alone in the rain.

People tell you you need to change,
Become something new.
But you put up with the pain,
And refuse.

I wish you could see,
Your not alone.
You have me,
And many other friends to be.

So step out of the darkness,
And into the light.
I assure you,
You will be alright.
