Have you ever been in doubt as to a persons gender.

He She Or It

There its standing right in front of me.
What is its gender I am unable to see.
I look all over it from head to its toe.
There isn't a clue that will let me know.

I am afraid in a way to what I will find.
Is it human or an animal of some kind?
Could be a friend or foe ready to spring.
It is ready to hurt me this unknown thing.
