The Vow

A little verse I had written for my wedding but left home and never got a chance to say.

If all I have with you is just this one eternity
To prove to you what you mean to me
To show you what your love does to me.
And to make you look forward to each tomorrow
Then, from now and until that last day
I want to share a little more of everything with you
To tell you a little more about everything, every day
And then, on that last day
I want to start all over again
To make sure we didn’t miss out
That we got it right
And because what you mean to me has no end.
