YOLO. Why?

Small rant on the term "yolo"

"Yolo" is a term

Commonly used among today's youth

Meaning "you only live once."



But instead of the initial meaning of that term,

To live life to the fullest,

They decide to use it as a redundant excuse

To do insanely ignorant things,

Like everything is okay by just yelling out "YOLO!" for everything you do.



So my main question is...why?

Why is it acceptable for people to do moronically reckless things

And then just use "yolo" as an excuse?



That's just unacceptable to me.
