Favoritism for nothing..

I have a feeling
That I am the lowest paid guy
I think even the janitor makes more
Still I don't know why

I gave all my young self could
Paid my way through school
Still the man who learned from a book
Is put up on a pedestal

I learned the properties of metals
He just knows how to use the tools
It's near impossible to move up here

But you still work here
